Before we get going it's important to note that working from a color calibrated monitor and workflow is paramount when approaching color management. If your monitor isn't calibrated or you are unsure, there are some economical tools you can purchase to help. However some basic steps to take are:
- Reduce any strong light or glare on your screen
- Drop the brightness to 50% or lower
- Make sure your viewing angle is correct (90°)
For embedded color profiles, we recommend using Adobe RGB (1998)
Black and white
For art that is greyscale, first make sure that all colour information is removed before uploading (convert to greyscale, or remove color)
